Dear CARS Member,

At the Bi-Monthly meeting last Thursday evening (3-10-16), a proposal was presented, discussed and voted on regarding annual membership dues.  The proposed rate was an increase of the Individual membership from the current rate of $23.00 to $30.00 and an increase of the Family rate from $30.00 to $35.00.  Those in attendance unanimously passed the proposal.

The reason for this increase is our repeater had to be moved to a new site on Fowler Peak and the club must now pay a monthly rent of $100.00. The cost of hosting the club repeater (N6FRG) on 145.17 MHz along with other yearly club expenses has unfortunately forced us to raise our membership dues.

Please notice that the current memberships are valid through the end of their existing term.

Club membership dues are still due on July 1 of each calendar year.  New memberships are valid through June 30 of the year following payment.

We are very sorry for the change!  We value each club member and hope this increase is not too much of a hardship.
