Post Pacificon 2021

A thumbs up to the Pacificon staff for there perseverance in producing a convention for the ham radio community. I’m sure it was a daunting task to weed through the ever changing requirements and obstacles, of the covid 19 virus that was put in there way. The task was accomplished and again Pacificon took place last weekend with its traditional home spun appeal. A place to have a QSO with an old friend, meet your ARRL representatives from various sections listen to a forum where you can grasp the technical knowledge of various fields of the hobby. Of course to meet up with vendors and factory representatives of your favorite amateur radio gear. Pacificon staff thank you again es will see u in 2022!

Calaveras club member David Voit WB6TOU gave an informative Forum on Pico-Ballooning In The Bay Area . The Forum participants were very enthusiastic and the Forum was well attended. Martin W6MRR and Bryan KF6ZEO contributors of David team also gave a talk on there particular specialty WSPR and Radiosondes.
