This years theme for the Columbia Father’s Day Fly-In was honoring our Vietnam Veteran’s. The VFW chapters have put together a traveling Vietnam war memorial which is a close replica of the memorial in Washington D.C. It was on display for those who would like to pay their respects to the 58,000 service men and women who lost there lives in this conflict.

Other events was a classic car show, various private aircraft and local emergency agencies such as CDF, who also had there fire fighting helicopters on display for those who wanted to climb aboard and peek inside.

Local Scout troops provided the flag ceremony to the start of the airshow which rounded out the day.
