These Sentinels stand for decades, their wires unleashed a power to those under oppression.  It reached out to millions who listened in on shortwave radios in Europe and Asia their ears intently filtering out the static and jamming noises to hear messages from a free land. These Centurions still standing fought a battle against adversary transmitters

 trying to block those messages of hope and justice.

Voices from America, Classical music , Jazz and Rock and Roll weakened a wall in Germany the free spirit of America the communist adversary had no answer.

May these Sentinels stand for decades more, waiting for the call. Fragile cell phone and internet infrastructure has to be strengthened, till then they wait. We will remember these structures of freedom who broadcasted the culture of America, the institutions of America the creativity and technological innovations of America. From those wires gracefully draped on these towers.
