The balloon went down just north of Vancouver after 11 days and 4 hours. The telemetry shows a sharp temperature drop to -50C followed by rapid descent. We suspect the plastic became brittle and cracked but can only guess. Some weather hit it somehow. We managed to go around the earth once and we am totally gruntled. When the virus stuff settles, we will send up another this time with wspr and aprs and see how far we can go again. We have learned a lot. Considering this was our first try, we feel pretty good.
