High Altitude Balloon Pushed Along By Jetstream

WB6TOU-11 continues to report in this morning, its speed increased overnight being swept along by a robust upper altitude Jetstream. Telemetry reports put the balloons speed at over 75mph, altitude is stable at 41,142 ft. It’s track is heading out to the Gulf Of Saint Lawrence, with a possible last landfall of St. John’s before reaching the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean.
St. John’s Newfoundland was the last landfall of daring aviator Charles Lindbergh in his 1927 non-stop flight to Paris.
