Special Weather Statement issued May 13 at 5:41PM PDT by NWS Sacramento CA

At 540 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Dorrington, or near Calaveras Big Trees SP, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Dorrington, Calaveras Big Trees SP, Arnold, Avery, Mountain Ranch, and Rail Road Flat. [...]
