Later, after his father passed, he took his fathers call sign W7IRJ.
I am sad to report that my father passed away yesterday in Roseburg, OR.
I felt it was important to write to this club and let them know.
Len, I’m so sorry to learn of your Dad’s passing. He was very well known and respected by many, many members of CARS. I have very fond memories of working with him on various projects on the repeater, as well as just sharing fellowship on the air and at club get-togethers. He will be greatly missed.
